ONE PAIR OF PREPPED 5 LUG REAR 1970-1978 Z STUB AXLES

Features:

• enables the use of the more common 5x4.5 5 bolt late model wheels at the rear of the Z car
• includes full preparation of a set of Z rear stub axles, and the supply and install of high grade 7/16-20 ARP studs

Benefits:

• allows use of 5lug wheels in 5x4.5 pattern (ie. Nissan, Toyota, Mustang etc)
• new rotors can be fitted on, or 4bolt rear rotors can simply be redrilled to have the 5 bolt pattern
• unquestioned quality for ARP stud install and alignment
• can allow use of other 5lug bolt patterns if combined with a bolt pattern change bolt on wheel adaptor

Process:

Precision Machinists complete all work

• Studs and dust seal removed
• 'eyelets' welded on outer flange for two 'near-edge' holes
• new bolt pattern machined in for high grade ARP 7/16-20 studs
• dust seals modifed
• ARP studs pressed in with use of fixtures to ensure proper alignment, modified dust seal installed

Price assumes you supply your set of good shape stub axles as cores with the bearings removed. 280Z units are the common ones (being stronger than 240Z units). We used to stock prepped sets for exchange but at present with most choosing our billet stub axles we're not stocking this prepped product as cores are less available. We may on occasion have a prepped set on hand with cores available for purchase.
